Chris Diacov, MD, is a seasoned technologist and entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience in digital video systems, machine vision, and AI-driven imaging solutions.

Dr. Diacov earned his medical degree from the Medical University of Varna, where he developed one of the first PC-based systems for 3D medical imaging. This early innovation led to his first software venture, focusing on multi-modality volumetric data acquisition and visualization. His passion for computational imaging has driven a career spanning medical imaging, digital video, and machine learning applications.

As a co-founder and chief technologist at ActiVideo, Inc., Dr. Diacov pioneered several digital video initiatives, including early web browser plug-ins for live video capture and streaming, web-based video messaging platforms, and the first fully integrated cross-platform video-email solution. His work at ActiVideo also encompasses machine vision and machine learning for dynamic image classification.

Dr. Diacov has held multiple leadership roles in technology startups, including co-founding LingoZING!, a platform that combines language learning with comic books, and HiLite Sports, focusing on sports content and social networking. He also served as the Senior Vice President of Medical Imaging Applications at A1 Alpha, Inc., and co-founded ASTI - Varna, where he was the General Manager.

In addition to his entrepreneurial ventures, Dr. Diacov contributes his expertise as a Technology Advisor at Eyedaptic, a company developing augmented reality solutions for individuals with age-related macular degeneration.
